Leather steering wheel
Hi I've got a 2005 td5 and would like to upgrade the standard steering wheel to a leather xs one. Am i right in saying i can get one off a puma up to 2014?

Regard Will

Your best taking your wheel off and counting the splines in the middle. My td5 is 36 spline and most if not all pumas are 48 spline but apparently Landrover could have put either size in randomly from what I've read. Ray

Apart from 2015 onwards model year as they had a steering angle sensor so won't fit. Anything with the same number of splines up to 2015 will be fine though Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

Have a 2016 puma steering wheel on my 02 td5.

You need a little mod to that to tack on the turn cancel "knuckles" and it will work great.
Alternative you can manually flick the indicator back. From the land of the most expensive land rover defenders on planet earth. At 125k for a XS 110 csw and you get to own it only for 10yrs! Please find me a good reason to stay on this island.

Do you just make up some tabs the same as on the original wheel and weld them on the MY2015+ steering wheel?

Or you do see like a track where you can fit in a small bolt, both top and bottom, that will also allow for that to push the blue ring on the turn cancel.

Squeeze one in and tack weld it and you are good to go. From the land of the most expensive land rover defenders on planet earth. At 125k for a XS 110 csw and you get to own it only for 10yrs! Please find me a good reason to stay on this island.

Yes it can be either - my '07MY Puma is 36 spline. Definitely worth checking.

I've got one on my 05 Td5 90, it was a 2012 48 spline, good year to get as you can still use your indicators
