Standard fit Conti tyres - any good?
Contemplating a vehicle reshuffle so that Deafener would become the main family transport Very Happy This would mean swapping the TD5 90 HT for a 110 XS SW. Can't grumble at the standard spec on an XS, but just wondering....

what are peeps thinking about the now standard fit Continental Conti Cross Contact AT tyres? aaaaaaand, are these defo std fitment on all news 110s now, or is there a chance that a new would arrive with alternatives, along the lines that LR 'reserve the right to fit alternatives'? What have you recent purchasers found?

TIA!

in my post.

the general grabber TR = TRs
continental conti cross contact = conti

sorry for the confusion i used the abbreviations that we use at work to differentiate between them.

i went from a 90 td5 hardtop to a 110 XS Puma

and would never look back. Cheers

What he said, they also worked really well in the snow (they are a mud & snow rated tyre) Russell

wet roads, gravel tracks, snow, wet fields are all far better tackled with the conti in my experience.

i also think they are slightly quieter if that is a factor you are considering. Cheers
