2010 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 HT Zermatt Silver
Pro Comp shock absorbers
Just a quick thing, anybody had experience of these types of shockers? also what lift were you running, and did you still have anti roll bars on?

The thread at the bottom breaks off on the pro-comps however if you retain the standard rubbers they dont break off as much. 130's have feeling's as well you know Smile

Got them on my Sereis 109 with Rocky Mountain Parabolics. Very good but they suggest giving them a lick of of paint to protect against rust. Have to say the metal doesn't look very substantial around the fixing point "eyes" but no worse than others!

James,, Thought you already had one of Glyn's kits fitted ??

I have bent 2 Pro-comps rear shocks now, on the challenge truck,, moved to the 19mm Terra firma, and treat them as disposable !!

One one shock to put on yours Old Man Emu California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1

I had a set of +2" ProComps on my Td5 ... had to change the back shocks once - the one on the right and the one on the left as they broke at the bottom - before I ever tried them out off road ... the two new ones never broke again ... bad luck ? but this was four years ago ... Razz Regards
