A lovely looking machine
A point worth noting though the 110 heritage had silver finish deep dish alloys. The alloys that are on yours are correct for the 90 heritage and are not load rated for the 110 if my memory serves me correct. |

Good spot, that's true, the Tornado alloys are only load rated for the 90. Doesn't stop people putting them on 110s and 130s however 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

The paint is flaking off the wheels a bit and they're a different shade of green underneath so must have been added.
What wheels should it have on? Also how can I check its a genuine Heritage, it doesn't say it on the V5. It has crossed my mind that it's none genuine but someone would have gone to a lot trouble to produce a replica. |

It looks genuine to me with the correct white dials etc. Correct wheels were called "deep dish"

I'm trying to get the paint code for the silver too, but without success just yet! The silver bits should be the grille, door hinges, bonnet hinges, bumper and the side steps, mine has silver windscreen 'hinges' which are incorrect.

There's a set of deep dish alloys for sale here:
http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic49982....=deep+dish Would need refinishing for complete authenticity but they'd make a good start. Thanks for your help. Exmoor says they can get a match for the leather so that'll be good.
Chassis' a basket case so are all the other usual areas, but worth rescuing. Cheers |

Also, does anyone know where I can get the correct side steps from? They're only just clinging on they're so rotten.

I bought mine which is a Heritage-a-like from Simmonites.
It had the side steps on like yours so they may be able to help with getting new ones for you. The hinges etc. are painted grey they may have a paint code for it. 1995 Defender 110 CSW 1971 SIIA Lightweight |

oh yes, that checker plate is hiding all sorts of issues, although not hiding it very well.
Got a galvanised chassis on its way. |
