For what it's worth I have had the German one for some years now. The only down side I can find is metal things rattle on the metal floor of the box. However some thin vinyl sorted this. I have found the lid doesn't rattle, or come open when everything else in the car has become airborne, the hinges are fine, and looks factory. Disgusting price for what it is, but it works. How did it go Andy?
I'm glad the MSS unit now has black hardware. Much better. |

Have received it, but looking in the box mine seems to have silver fittings Will take a closer look tomorrow and fit it, might need to return the fittings or swap them for black ones myself Cheers Andy |

on the silver fittings. Can you use the original grey screw that held the top piece on?

Sorry, I was speaking bo*llocks, there indeed two black flange nuts.
The kit was easily assembled with no drama at all. Needs a wee mod though, needs a micro switch and led light connected to the lid so that you get some light in there when your looking for stuff on a winters night Cheers Andy |

^ Unlike the center cubby though, Your not going to be looking for long unless you use it for very small items.
Its handy but small Click image to enlarge Mines Currently at OEM being re trimmed in leather to match the handle and dash pod (not updated in pic) |

^^ True
I think its a neat place to put a USB charging point, chewing gum and a LED torch - that will have it filled Cheers Andy |

I'm okay with small, since it'll just be used for sunglasses.
Thanks! |
