Steps tend to be lower and wider then tree sliders. Also they will not take the abuse of rock and tree sliders and will bend upwards/inwards if caught offroad.
Tree sliders being higher and narrower then steps. Can use self adhesive gripper tape on the tree slider but do not take it over the outside of the tree slider. Alternative are the small gripper plates. On the R + T sliders would strongly recommend Safari Equip ones as they are the only ones in the UK that I am aware off which are hot dipped galvanised. We have used and abused them for a large number of years. We now have some tread steps designed for the Safari Equip R + T sliders Click image to enlarge Brendan |
