Hello
We usually always stay near Keswick at Castlerigg Hall, however recently we have found a little farm which is Ace but this new year due to issues beyond their control we could not stay.. So I searched and found the Quite Site....Open ALL YEAR also http://thequietsite.co.uk/ Camping, Pods, Hobbit Holes... Brilliant place, amazing bar... Live music, their own beer !! Very Clean and tidy site... It's actually called the Quiet Site but agree it is a great site Cheers Ian

Strangely enough it's one that comes up quite regularly on the VW T5 forum as a recommended site, it's been on my list of "places to stay" for a while now but not got there yet... http://www.yorkshireoffroadclub.net/

First found this Quiet site twenty years ago and have been back many times with the caravan I can really recommend this place

Was great !!
We wanted to try a Hobbit hole but all booked up... Its not that pricey really... Pod around £50 for a family of 4 Think a Caravan pitch would be around £26 then add in the cost of the van and getting it there.. its all relative Great Site |
