Our 2015 my double cab has shaped boxes too, I thought I'd seen pics of a later hard top with stepped sides so assumed it was only earlier ones with the square boxes. Ray

Likewise, albeit now covered and squared off by a chequer plate liner fitted by the previous owner. Monsieur Le Grenadier

Thoroughly enjoying reading this thread, and love your enthusiasm. Keep going. Great project.
One thing you might like to have a go at is straightening up the "face" by spacing out the lower offside front wing. There are a couple of threads on here about it. A standard Landy thing.
