Thanks for the quick reply, but I should have made it clearer: there are two spare connectors in each wing - the headlamp adjuster motor connector is one and then there is an additional one that is the same as the side/indicator light connector.
The adjuster motor connector is a different shape to the light connectors. |

I think I have just found the answer - in the LH wing it is the connection for the rear screen washer pump. Mine being a DC, it has no rear washer pump hence a spare connector. Confusingly it is the same connector type as the lights, YPC10070.
I think I must have imagined the one in the other (RH) wing - probably got confused with the light connectors which were by then hanging free. Thanks anyway everyone! |
