Nolden - 2nd generation
Interesting someone on here posted them in a thread, otherwise would not have known. Seems they were launched without much noise.
I see they have a DRL function now, but are their low/high beam much better than the first generation, and if so, in what respect? Light output, spread, light colour?
Are they still IP69? That info I could not find back on Naka site.
Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

I would guess the reason that Nakatanenga (I know it's a mouthful but you could at least give them the respect of trying) don't say is because Nolden don't say.

Interesting auto translate:

You can switch with the second generation the high beam to the low beam. That gives you a convincingly bright performance when driving with high beams.

Gen1 and Gen2 are IP68 and IP6K9K

Gen2 is better in light output and light spread plus DRL and positioning light.

They were announced in several magazines and websites. Not yet here in the D2 forum because they are not yet available for RHDs WANTED:

SII or SIII in max 1.5k

I want to keep my OE sidelights fitted and working. Can the Gen 2 allow that if fitted? Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Ta ta Defender

Not sure if I like the Drls, look a bit like they were plonked on as an after thought, bit lazy in my opinion, but I suppose I'll wait to see the black ones first before I make up my mind.
