Diff pinion height
I'm replacing the diff pinion bearings on my 90. If I re use the old shims will I still need to set the pinion height?

Probably not, but best to check tooth engagement with engineers' blue.

More than likely it will be the same height, but whenever I build a diff always check teeth engagement using engineers Blue and rolling resistance of the pinion itself then with the crownwheel assembly fitted
