Is there a reason for not wiring up the dipped to come on with the main? I can see it may get a bit warmer.
I was thinking of going down the relay upgrade route but wondered if I should plan to add this into the upgrade. |

My guess is the bulb would overheat causing both filaments to fail.

Running both filaments on a h4 bulb will overheat it rapidly. Redoing the loom with relays will help, and adding a couple of driving lights on the front bumper is also a good easy option.

I have some nice driving lights to wire up so it is in progress. I was merely speculating as to why it isn't a standard Mod.

I use nightbreaker light bulbs on my 306 and that makes a massive difference so a good quality light bulb is a must, and good set of lights too. I bought my dad a pair of new head lights with nightbreaker bulbs and I tell you what he loves it!
I bought him a pair of dip and full beam spots too, so the front end is pure hardcore for lighting up the full works! |
