Radio problem
My kenwood radio that is fitted to my 300 tdi has this annoying problem that every now and then it will lose the station I am listening to and retune to another station ( usually classic fm) is this likely to be a fault with the radio or an Ariel problem my Ariel is just the little flexi rubber one the stations are all clear when listening to them

It is probably that short antenna, had to replace mine with a standard telescopic one and reception is now great. Jeff

It is a while since I had a Kenwood so hope my recollection is correct.
If you don't want to change aerials then you should alter the settings on the radio. You probably have AFC (automatic frequency control) set to on. This finds the next strongest signal when in a poor reception area. Switching it off will stop the radio searching, but you will lose/ have poor reception until you reach a better signal.
