Alive Ultimate Or Performance Intercooler?
I'm thinking of uprating my inercooler I'd be interested to hear from anyone on here that has already uprated theirs and what intercooler they used? What their thoughts were after doing it in terms of extra power and if it was worth while?

Is the Alive ultimate intercooler worth the extra £100 more than the Performance intercooler they do? I can see it has a 3yr guarantee but intercoolers should last that long anyway?

I'd be very interested to hear your thoughts guys Thumbs Up 2010 Defender 90 HT

The alive ultimate has a better flow rate and machined end tanks so yes worth the extra money imo

I've got the BAS Hi-Flow intercooler with the BAS 170AB remap and silicone hoses as a package, so can't comment on intercooler alone. The total package however is just awesome! Thumbs Up

On speaking to Pete about why he decided to make his own, he just said "to get it right!" Pete has funded a lot of research and wasn't happy with achieving optimum flows so designed and builds his own. It is a lovely thing...

Hi bought my self a few years back from Paddock Spares the Serck Intercooler (price /Quality) and i have noticed a difference for sure and i had done it before my TD5 inside remap (from the man himself Jose Amorin) and now i am taking full advantage of this upgrade after the remap.

It is up and running and recommend no issues at all.

i installed it myself you can check it our here...

Have a look in the bell auto services section of this forum. I comment there on how good the hi-flow intercooler is. Tested by me in the peak of Summer here in Dubai. I am 100% satisfied with it and the amazing customer service Pete bell offers. 2015 110 Defender Heritage Utility Station Wagon
