could you reveal a little more about your painting technique? I have done boats by rolling and tipping with a foam brush and it has looked great.

2010 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Galway Green

This was done with Jotun Conceal paint. Basically keyed all the panels with wet and dry paper then used a 4" gloss roller to apply the paint. Conceal is touch dry in about 30mins so by the time you have finished a panel you can start applying a second coat. I used the paint neat (not thinned) to get a good build up to cover minor imperfections and it means that it can be flatted back to give a nice smooth finish. Its not a showroom finish but at least its better than it was and from 5 feet away looks spot on. I would have loved to have sprayed it but i don't have a spray booth and have some pricey motors in my workshop so cannot risk covering them in overspray

my last 90 was done the same way but using nato green surplus paint

No mate, its still here. The guy interested is offshore until friday but if he no longer wants it then there are a couple of people on this forum that have shown interest so hopefully it will be off to a new home soon

Sprayed this time. The headlight surrounds are Series 3 resprayed silver (were black)
