You can broaden your search to NNN500020 as well, that works on "defender Td5 manual", it's what I fitted to my last project90

I don't know ANYTHING about these guys so it's in no way a recommendation but these guys look like they do repairs of ECUs for a LOT less than a new one - maybe an idea if you can't find a replacement?
http://www.ecutesting.com/catalogue/produc...00920.html Anyone tried them? |

I have been looking at them and wondering, they offer unlimited milage warranty and there's an add on you tube with some favourable comments, it would be nice to hear from anyone who had direct experience
Looking at new ECU it seems to come out at £750+ Ray |

When I replaced my old dead engine I replaced the ECU to get the 15P features, cost me £200 off ebay for a used one... Got it reprogrammed by a friend and all working fine now. I'm sure someone with a nanocom would help you out?

I have a Nanocom and that part is not a problem, just wanting a decent ECU, seen some on tbay at about £350!but seems a bit dear, I can get it repaired with unlimited warrant for £250. So it makes no sense to buy a unit which is unknown.
I have bought other parts on tbay where it seems some people buy a new part and then put the duff one up for sale and just don't reply when you complain. Ray |

One last thought I measured the resistance of the injector pins at the plug
A1, A24, A25, A26, A27, are the injector pins the commons are A22, A23 Each pin had a path to one or the other commons with a resistance between 1.6 and 1.9 Ohms Each pin had a path to one other pin with a resistance of about 2.8 Ohms. Did not understand why each pin has a connection to one other pin, has anyone else checked this ? Would be interested to hear the readings from a known healthy system. Ray |

Well checked it out and still wont run concluded that the ECU is up the spout.
Options were S/H unit from e bay for £220 or £310 repair with warranty from these people: http://www.ecutesting.com/ I cant find anyone who has used this service but seems better to have some kind of warranty the S/H unit may not be far behind my old one and could pack up in 6 months. So biting the bullet and sending it off today. Ray |

Thanks but I had a message from the people who have my ECU that it shows no fault, they want just over £6o for testing or would I like it re built for just over £300.
I thought about it and decided against the rebuild, so back to looking for my problem, it's starting to get on my nerves. But merry Christmas to everyone. Ray |
