Hi,
Just wondering why the diff lock warning would come on if I'm just in regular HIGH gear mode. I was driving through some moderate snow and the wheels did spin a little bit. Any concern? Seems a bit funny for the diff lock to come on even if the diff lock is not engaged? Thanks a lot. 1999 Defender 110 2003 P38 2007 RR SC "And that's why it needs to be celebrated, because when the Defender goes we'll have lost this pointer to where we came from, and we're really going to miss it." Mine also used to come on in snow and very very wet weather. Hasn't since I had a new transfer/gearbox so can only assume it was a faulty switch. 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

Went into reverse and drove for a bit. Light turned off but for how long I wonder.
Sort of thinking this was wind up but I thought it only occurred when the differential was switched to locked... 1999 Defender 110 2003 P38 2007 RR SC "And that's why it needs to be celebrated, because when the Defender goes we'll have lost this pointer to where we came from, and we're really going to miss it."
