If your 90 has a drum braked rear axle then it would never have had alloys, as they won't fit. In which case, original fitment would have been standard steel wheels with either 205/80's or 7.50 16's. They're different heights, so your speedo would be set up for one or the other.

It would never have had 265/75's as they're too wide for steel wheels.

A popular replacement for standard is Wolf HD steel wheels, which will fit straight on although you may need to fit longer wheel studs. Not a difficult task. Other steel wheels will fit without issue too, i.e. those from a Disco I, eight spokes or modular.

If, of course, somebody has retrofitted a later disk-braked axle, then the world or alloy wheels is your oyster. Darren

Just looked at your pics again and realised that you have a 300tdi rather than a 200, so ignore my comments about drum brakes Rolling Eyes I'm pretty sure they all had rear disks by 1997 and so alloys are an option open to you. Standard size would be 235/85R16. Darren

This weekend we are hoping to have a look at the cars steering. for some reason its unsettled at high speeds.
Also I am going to fit some night breakers to the head lights too. Bull bar has been bought too, so another upgrade to go on the car.
I am planning on fitting interior from a county land rover, basically make it more homely.

looks like the front steering, wheel bearings and brakes need replacing, Brakes are sticking on the driver side, the rest of the jobs are on the passenger side. Anyone recommend some decent suspension? I am going to replace the full works, one of the rear dampers is missing a cover. Also can you buy replacement rear door looms too?

cheers dorsetsmith, I will be buying a long with the spot lamps and loom and new interior light. What the plan is, buy a bit at a time ( I am paying for her plus the 306 to look after too) I would love to replace the front grill and light surrounds with grey/ silver items. Landy's do look good like that.

We have been moving forward again today, two repairs and a facelift!

started off by buying Sulisuli's grill and light surrounds.
The reason been this,

Cheers Sulisuli! For selling me these! and another cheers to Stiff for linking them.

Also the driver side check strap was damaged, My dad has been itching to fix that since the day we got it. So I whipped the full system off and my dad re bent the slider back into shape, so that's one fix sorted out, I will buy new ones of those I think, the plastic trim is damaged where the straps been hitting it.

New year we are looking at suspension, steering, timing belt, service, new wheels and if possible maybe interior upgrades. Not sure what will come 1st, all depends on budget etc. but we are working through it.

Here is my mam and dads landy 200 TDI,

The 200 TDi has had some things done to it, I will ask them if they have photos for you, so that I can do a thread for that one. Rather than add on here,
