2007 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 DCPU Stornoway Grey

Low range dash light

I see from searching that this topic has half come up a few times only to be dismissed as a legacy feature of the discovery 3 from which the dials were taken that is unused in the puma...

Everybody who has posted in the above threads agree that they can see the outline of low range light on the lower left hand side of the dials but all report it doesn't illuminate. Neither does mine.

I was in fellow member Welshsurferdude's puma recently and noticed that his low range light does illuminate!

What's going on? Is it wired to work from the factory? Is my bulb out? Does anyone else's work?

From memory they worked on the launch/early Pumas, but not the later.

Some years ago I remember having a mooch underneath whilst my 90 was up on the ramp and I think it's the connection from the box to the dash that's missing more than anything. Although that said something must be there for the ECU to recognise low range to activate the idle jack 2007 - Stornoway Grey 90 XS SW - Gone
