buy cheap and you know it wont last be noisy and have average performance
fitted plenty of bearmach ones that have performed well but the vdo ones last the longest .... |

For what engine?
Td5 defender and disco share the same "pump" but the fuel level arm is different. and the disco one is much cheaper than a defender. Happily enough, the arm just unclips..... So get a decent make disco pump and just swap the arm over and save some £££ |

99 td5,i got a secondhand pump 15 yr ago for my first trip to morocco as a spare never used,150k miles later pump breaks down ahhhh i have a spare in the garage somewhere,just as well it never went in maroc alll those years ago cos i have just cut the hole in the floor to fit it,anyway fitted the 15yr + secondhand one yesterday and it sounds good on its pre start cycle but the motor wont fire up,tons of white smoke thinking there must be load of air getting in somewhere done the start cycle about 50 f..kin times still cant get it to fire so thinking new pump n seal and that would be it
suggestions more than welcome thanks for those already loz |
