Coolant confusion, PUMA uses OAT
Been looking into coolants since I topped up my Triumph with Castrol M/C coolant "grand prix" then found out I should have used a Hybrid OAT (HD4X)

Must be the cold cold weather - as all my vehicles seem to have low fluids
Mk4 Hilux only has standard old style blue Ethylene (should really replace this good for 2 years)so no problem just bought some Car Plan Bluestar

Puma hand book states Texaco XLC which on reading into this coolant the manufacturer does say "it is compatible with most other coolants based on ethylene glycol",the Texaco (Havoline) is an OAT coolant and as such I have purchased for top up TRIPLE QX (RED) ANTIFREEZE which is also OAT
Anyone have further thoughts on this ?

I cant recall the thread, but I'm 90% sure that 'Havoline Xtended Life Anti-Freeze/Coolant (XLC) Concentrate' is the same product as the recommended Texaco XLC.

Located in Caltex stations locally, unsure what you've got over that way Thumbs Up Solved the bowel problem, working on the consonants...
