Congrats with the purchase Thumbs Up.

As for the noise, best to look into it anyway. It could be something that's easy to fix but just as well costly over time Embarassed.

About the dashboard, any chance of posting a picture ?
I'll check on my Td5 when I reassemble the dashboard (top halve is out as I'm in the process of installing a heated front screen and DefenderVent kit - and some other things Laughing ). Peter,

Defender 110 StaWa - Td5
Defender 110 HCPU - Puma
Defender 90 Soft Top - Td5

Yeah, I'll try to get some pictures of the dash too soon.

Any ideas what the noise could be? I could just let the dealer look into it, but I'd prefer to have some idea myself so the dealer can't just say "Ah well, TADTS"...

OK, some pics! First up is the close-up of the gap between the instrument panel and dash... normal or not? Obviously this is LHD so folks in the UK should imagine the photo in mirror view Smile

And then some pictures of the actual car. Taken in a very unique place in Espoo called Puolarmaari. It's like a village within the city, with small cottages of unique and experimental designs. As you can see, there's been a fair bit of snow this year.

In the next one you can see the extra rear lights which are mounted up, just beneath the roof. Any ideas what these would've been for?

Are those HD steel rims or just normal?

Hi Setok,

I have exactly the same opening between those pieces on my dashboard Wink.

This is clearly not a precision fit Laughing.

So nothing to worry about Thumbs Up Peter,

Defender 110 StaWa - Td5
Defender 110 HCPU - Puma
Defender 90 Soft Top - Td5

Hehe, cheers. I guess it's good for credit cards you really don't want to use!

It's already been in use this weekend for its intended purpose: helping a startup event with hauling crap around. Pity it's not me driving — miss it already!

Ha, I know the feeling.
Since yesterday my Td5 is back on the road after having been in my garage for about 2 months (*) and I already covered about 400 km Laughing. It was a joy driving this beautiful machine again.

(*) Not only did I fit a Webasto cabin heater but I also fitted a heated front screen, 2 driving lights on my A-bar, a DevenderVent kit (partially modified), cruise control (just marvelous), a Td5 rev counter and a DC-AC converter for charging my netbook when on the move.
Have been quite busy Mr. Green Peter,

Defender 110 StaWa - Td5
Defender 110 HCPU - Puma
Defender 90 Soft Top - Td5
