I think you've missed the point. Typically, tyres that have white lettering have them on one side only, which gives the choice of mounting them either outside and visible or inside and hidden. When folks talk of lettering on the inside, it means they've had the tyres mounted that way. Darren

 I know, Just couldn't help grinning at the thought of how pointless Lettering 'Inside' the tyres was. Not inboard or outboard but 'Inside'
