TDI300 Alternator Question
Hi Forum,

My Alt crapped itself yesterday and I just got hold of a DAN008 100 amp to replace the old failing part.
on looking around I see much discussion on heat shields - should i get one , do i need one and if so which one fits the DAN008?

YES good to shield from exhaust manifold heat
