Looking to install a MadMan gauge just like this pic. How do I access that part of the dash?

Take the centre fascia out, stereo, switches etc.

Not a bad job to do, then you should get your hand around inside... 80" 80" 86" 88" 90"

Thx mate. Is it obvious or is there a best way to run wires to the engine?

Locate where the main loom runs through the bulkhead, and use that.

That's the way I would be going if running wires to the engine bay.
There are a few other places, but as long as they are running through a grommet you should be fine. 80" 80" 86" 88" 90"

^^^^ Same here, I'd use cables in convoluted tube for protection.
Doesn't need to be page dia, just enough to make the cable runs you need. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️

Follow the ariel cable to find the big grommet that a few wires go.
Feed a stiff wire or similar through from the engine bay side.
Conect your cables to it inside the dash and carefully use it to pull the wiring through the grommet.

Where the gauge will go there are ribs behind the panel.
I trimmed the inside ribs off with a knife as I found the Dremel hard to get in.
I found removing the steering wheel gave me more room to work. Cheers,
Kyle.
