Smooth Headlight Surround ?
Hi Guys, can anyway point me in the right direction to a smooth headlight surrounds ?
I order a new headlight and grille package, the paint shop have painted the grille in Santorini which looks fantastic but won't paint the headlight panels as they are textured. It looks very odd now with just the grille painted, definitely want the headlight panels to match if I can track down a smooth one. Any help on my hunt appreciated!

Your choices are to either have your headlight surrounds stripp either chemically or bead blasted OR find some unpainted surrounds. We have some unpainted Nakatanenga unpainted heritage light surrounds.

Or key surrounds with 400 grit wet abc dry wet, plastic prime, hibuild primer, 600 grit dry sand, seal, 600 dry sand again with 600 dry paper.
Base coats, clear coats, if there is any peel you can flat with 2000 wet with a block and then cut down to a ultra fine compound to a polish.
Probably not needed though, depends hw well you can lay the paint.

Don't be scared of grille texture, you can easily overcome that.

Thumbs Up ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️
