I had a remap done by AlliSport and was very impressed, so I opted for the uprated intercooler as a second stage and found a further improvement in response, mid range power and most importantly; fuel economy! The engine seems quieter and smoother as a further bonus. A1 AlliSport!

I must admit if i were to go the second stage and fit intercoolers etc etc, i would buy an allisport type intercooler.
which is why i now sell when needed TD5/Puma intercoolers from Andrews and dont make my own any more. The finish is perfect and the welding is outstanding. Sonic you have PM Regards Pete |

I have had a JE stage 2 puma setup and the power is fantastic the td5is fast to be fair but as for a workhorse the puma @ 185 wouldpull the arse out of my 200 bhp td5 less horse power more torque. the nly thing i can knock it for is sometimes it can be jerky as all the power is in the first 1" of the pedal but all in all very happy as always with JE PS ask them aboutt he Zulu Defender 400 bhp + |

So after reading all this tuning stuff I have only one question about stage #1: how much will it affect engine durability? Will it seriously reduce MTBF or I shouldn't even worry about it?

No need to worry about a stage 1 tune.

Yeah, but there won't be any pre- & post- diagnostics. And the other reason -- I've never been to UK P.S. For some strange reason I couldn't find remap-device description on your site... http://www.google.ru/search?hl=ru&neww...=f&oq= |

The interface does diagnostics also
If you look on my site on the left for BAS Remap interface. I can't give you the link now as I'm typing on my iPhone. Not ever been to the UK should not affect you buying the interface. Regards Pete |
