Looks cracking.
Nice rebuild thread, good for plenty more years now. Nice when you can trust someone to do a 'proper' job on it. |

Looks fantastic and great that she's back on the road for another 20 years at least! Well done for putting the investment back in to keep her going. 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green

Thanks for all your comments, it has been a journey but so worth while. Getting a canvas tilt for it from exmoors next week to round it all off.

I kept it to under £10k but got very close, there was additionals I hadn't expected like the bulkhead, and a new drivers door, some drive train refurb and sundries like bump stops, number plate lights. The trouble with rebuilds is not everything can go back so new or very nearly new like the tow bar all added up.
The canvass tilt from exmoor was a conscious choice but added an additional cost. Well worth it when you consider I could not buy one with the longevity this 90 now has. ![]() |

Lovely job and great result. I'd be dead happy with that. Always love a 90 pickup, proper hardcore farm style! 1951 80" S1 2.0

That's the point I'm at with mine. I'm at £10k in parts + paint alone ![]() Be worth it in the long run though |

Absolutely, can't tell you how glad I am to have my 90 back, the newest it's has been since 2000 when it was built.
I had a few other little jobs tacked on like new sump, sump plug and the TD5 oil pump bolt replaced just in case. The good thing with Alpine Restoration was the labour charge reduced when such a large job happening and has helped keep costs down. ![]() |

Looks good, & a very thorough job.
What about a set of Wolf Wheels,...would look good, & give it a bit of "attitude"?! Pickles. |

Wheels are a next year plan, have a set of Free style alloys which need a clean up and powder coating so watch this space.
