2011 model year, as in class N1, started manufacture early July 2010, so Could !! be registered before October !!

Easy way to tell,, is the Land Rover letters on the oval badges are now silver, rather than gold, unless its had new badges !!! California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1

What amazes me is that some people base their decision on whether to spend 25-30k on a vehicle around £200 or c£440 pa on RFL?? Also, that people umm and arr about buying now that VAT is 2.5% higher. That's £650 on a £31k XS. Sometimes, I think we lose sight of the bigger picture. Question D300 HSE 110

100% Very Happy Mines due any day now !!! Landrover did do a deal, and paid the Vat increase, if ordered before DEC last year !! But its all coppers, in the grand scheme of things !!

But,, if you are in the market for a used Defender, and you see 2 10 plate ones, ie one May 10, the other one July 10, with 2 different rates of VED which would you choice ?? ,, the May 10 would have be have some advantage to sell,,, more kit,, lower miles or cheaper !! California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1

The earlier that meant i didnt have to drive round at 50mph everywhere.

THe tax really isnt a big deal in the grand scheme - i didnt replace ours after calculation it didnt actually save anything! Mike
