Once you go onto larger CSA cable you are looking at 7 -8 amps per mm2.
So for 70 amp the minimum cable size would be 10mm2 Going larger say 16mm2 will give you a decent safety margin.. Blue Sea do a split 12 gang fuse box. One set of 6 can be permanent live another bank of 6 can be iginition live only. Thanks Brendan,
I have a larger cable to use from the battery to the relay and then on to the fuse box, it was just the size of cable from the switched ignition to the relay I wasn't sure of, does that make sense ? ![]() I have seen the blue sea fuse box but I have unfortunately already bought just a normal one. |

You won't need much to operate the relay, less than an amp so you won't need much in the way of wire.
