Surging TD5
Hi all,
My 2001 110 TD5 has 156K on the clock. Is in otherwise very good mechanical condition but for one annoying fault. In low range, coming off idle it gets quite a surge up. Have to either drive through it or back off to idle again. Found circlip off wastegate actuator rod-no difference. Just had a remap-still there. Checked transfer switch function-was OK. I'm stumped now Big Cry . Injector? Any ideas? Nothing suggests poor workmanship like wrinkles in the duct tape.

Thanks Augusto but wasn't that. Nothing suggests poor workmanship like wrinkles in the duct tape.

It doesn't do that in high range?

The throttle responce is different in low range versus high range. Mostly slower. I didn't like that off-road so I disconnected the plug so my ecu doesn't know if I am in low range so I keep the high range throttle responce.

You can dod that to see if it makes a difference. Roel

Appears the issue is now a dodgy injector but I will try what you suggest as that sounds like a good thing to do anyway. Cheers. Nothing suggests poor workmanship like wrinkles in the duct tape.
