SILVERLINE SPORT WHEELS
hi chaps , has anyone got these in any other size then 16 inch ? was thinking 16 rims with coope stt discovered 265/75/16 but then was told u can get them in 17,s and 18,s ?
anyone got any pros/cons about other than 16s pls ?

Mine are 18"s shod with Mickey Thompson 305's. Ride is excellent with no additional road noise over standard.

inch and a half.......no rub. At full articulation they just squeak past.

hmmmmmm , they look great but dont want to lift mine , recon ill go 16 inch 265/75/16 although the 17 would look nice , arrrrrggggggggggg
is there much diff in cost ?

No idea, get Silverline to do you a quote. If you are going to the truoble of putting new rims on, I would plump for a wider tyre.....

have the same wheels (18" rims, 305 section tyre) on my SVX. no lift, and all is fine, no scrapping of arches at all.

France 2008 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 CSW Alpine White
285's BFG AT on 16" silversport, fill the arches, no rubbing unless fully laden over ramps etc, gearing spot on (a bit low with 265's) I'll try and get a picture

Get a proper quote from Silverline before you go, even if verbal, date time and who by - it helps them to remember and saves any problems a few days later - they ARE SERIOUSLY BUSY.............

the cost when purchased was £1750 for 5 wheels and tyres. so well worth it it though. just on a side topis, i have now covered 36k miles in my SVX and the tyres have warn 2mm, so i am looking at a good return for the exspence. Cheers

they do look the Censored have to say, and i think they look better on your 130, may be just a wee bit OTT for a 90. Cheers
