I believe all three are for the towing electrics.
The yellow Voltage Sensitive Relay energises when the alternator is working and is used as a trigger to the other two relays that feed the towing socket (either a 12S or a 13 pin). Cheers nosnibod, that makes sense now. You saved me the time having to trace the wires!
Its a bit of a messy install, the wires from those relays seem to go everywhere, which leads me to my next question. Is there any harm permanently disconnecting the battery? I wouldnt mind taking the battery out to see what space i'm working with, and to tidy the wires up. But i'm not sure if this will cause issues with ECU/immobiliser? |
