before and after

a few changes to my Defender, i thought i would get the roof and wheel arches painted to make it a bit different also changed the wheels, hopefully get an A bar and a pair of spotlights soon, i also have a set of side steps for it but in two minds whether to fit them as i am not a big fan of them so i might sell them and get a set of tree sliders instead.

Nice! What paint and preparation did you use on the wheel arches? Cheers, Vincent

So which is which? Have you gone from the nice fully silver Defender to the less pretty one with the black roof?

If so, sorry I preferred the old one but the great thing about Defenders is you can personalise them.

If you've got from black roof to silver roof: that looks really nice and it's good to see someone going for a calmer and more understated look on their car.

I personally like the two tone think it breaks up the car a bit as they can be quite a square block of colour. Smart looking truck, looked nice before, looks more custom now

I'm quite a fan of the black and silver look too, the first pic is when I first got it.

I'm still not entirely sure about the black wheel arches, although the more I look at those with them, the more I am drawn towards that as the next "enhancement" Whistle
