Now on eBay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/-/322388168272?
In order to make way for a new project, we are selling our Land Rover Defender 90 Tribute build. This is a truly unique 90, built to our own exacting standards, with the goal of making it look as though it could have come straight from the factory. We wanted to see what would have happened if Land Rover had continued the development of a Series vehicle and this is the result, dubbed the 'Series IV'. This 90 was featured in the September 2016 Edition of Land Rover Owner Magazine and you can see the entire build in video here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLhy...QhEXkyfN6yIt drives beautifully thanks to some tasteful and appropriate performance modifications, with plenty of power underfoot, excellent uprated performance brakes and on the dot handling. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Specification 1999 Special Vehicles 90 Td5 Defender (purchased via a dealer from the National Grid, it was originally used to carry a thermal imaging camera for observing pylons).Mileage 78,000, was regularly serviced by the National Grid and kept in a heated garage. We have put approximately 20,000 miles on it in our 5 years of ownership and serviced every 5,000.Recently completely rebuilt to create our own tribute to the Land Rover, featuring some of the best elements of Land Rovers in one vehicle
Price Approximately £15-18k has been spent on this rebuild and so we are asking £21,000.Contact hello@funrover.com Editor of FunRover - One blog. Read it! Land Rover rebuild video series here: Last edited by funrover on 12th Jan 2017 11:52am. Edited 1 time in total |

Absolutely beautiful! I read the magaine article and loved what you did. Wish I had the funds as I would definitely be interested. I am sure some enthusiast will snap it up.

Still one of my favourites! If only I had the money!
In no way am I saying it isn't worth the money, but for £21k I'd like to see the heated screen wired in and the what look like light guard holes filled. Love it!
Quick question though... did you say on your YouTube video that you were planning on making the grilles to order? |
