I changed from Apple to Samsung and I have not regretted it.
Though carrying around a portable fire extinguisher with the phone is a bit of a chore For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at.. http://www.youtube.com/user/conwy1 |

I have a Lumia 640 and am very pleased with it. I'm a Windows person over Apple so find it very easy to navigate. Does everything I need. James

I'm thinking of going for Apple over my old Samsung.
A 5C or similar has good prices on eBay unlocked and refurb for about £120. Carefully check reviews first. Then that allows you to use P&G with no contract. I'm not one for the newest kit and paying THAT much for it, nor contacts for stupid prices like £55 a month. It'd be cheaper and just as much issue to get a bloody loan instead and with all their monthly DD ties and they'd even mark your credit file for it too. No, personally myself I buy a phone (.whichever age, brand or make / model I decide) Then I decide which bundle I choose and I choose if and when I decide to pay it. (Normally each month anyway, but when I want.) You then have complete and utter control. I do like O2 as a network as I find signal is very good indeed. Just my thoughts. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ¥ó ®ó §ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ³ó £ó ´ó ¿ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡ªðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸â›½ï¸ðŸ›¢ï¸âš™ï¸ðŸ§°ðŸ’ª |

My 4s died recently too. No way I could afford a new iPhone so went Motorola Moto G4 Plus direct from Motorola. Very pleased on the whole, although it is big beast which takes some getting used to. The switch to Android was reasonably easy and it's actually pretty slick once you get used to it. Battery life is amazing compared to iPhone. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

Just bought a brace of Samsung Galaxy S7s. Very good so far. Have used a Galaxy S5 for 2 years and HTC One for 3 years so I am a fan of the multi-vendor options with Android. For me that is a very important element.
Would stay with Samsung over the unreliable HTCs. |

I switched from a few years of iOS to Android (Sony) a couple of years back and will be switching back to an iPhone 6/6S I think, but only really because we have a household of iPhones, iPads and Macs and one Android device in amongst that lot causes me a few headaches every now again. The Sony has been great though and superior to the Apple device in many ways – had to change the battery (but I had to do that on my 4S too – which could be your problem). I always buy my phone unlocked, then find a good SIM-only deal. Giffgaff has served me well over the last few years.

Done this with the last two phones I've had, 4s then to a 5s, Although on EE, with all the extras, way, way cheaper than my previous contracts. Shame the signal on EE in these parts is so pants! |

I have both (iPhone and android) as one is work supplied and one is personal.
I'd take iPhone every day over androids, much prefer my 5s over the work samsung ( even though 3 times as much use time is on the work phone) Guns and Landrovers .... anything else is irrelevant. |

Actually Steve, I still have an iPhone 6. OH has a 6S plus. I had planned on upgrading to the 7 this year but decided to wait until next year. Rumors are that it'll be a big change next year. We'll see. If I was buying a new phone now, I'd go for the iPhone 7 Plus. I'm heavily committed to the Apple eco system with the iPhone, iMac 5K, iPad Pro and Air2s, Apple TVs, Apple Carplay in both cars, so would never consider any other phone. I'm a big Apple fan. I've not bought the watch yet because it doesnt yet do what I want it to do, meaning I want be able to facetime from my wrist like Star Trek I'm sure it will have that soon. I cant comment on the camera but from what I've read it sounds good, especially the on the 7plus. Last edited by Riverboy on 23rd Oct 2016 7:40pm. Edited 1 time in total |

I've always wondered just exactly what you could expect from a watch.
Just hope someone doesn't chop someone's arm off to steal one with their value. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ¥ó ®ó §ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ³ó £ó ´ó ¿ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡ªðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸â›½ï¸ðŸ›¢ï¸âš™ï¸ðŸ§°ðŸ’ª |

I've got a 2 year old Moto G 2nd gen and been very happy with it.
I'm thinking of replacing it because the internal storage space isn't enough but would happily buy the same (equivalent) again. Certainly beats paying for mad contracts, my phone package comes to £4.99 a month and the phone will have cost me £5 a month if I just bin it. |
