Thanks folks, yeah, its been a labour of love and almost getting to where I want it to be!
It is indeed known as Dr Evil, great plate came with it. Got the Slickshift installed today but won't really have a chance to fully test it out until next week. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

Bit of an update. It's got some very high output LED bars, boost gauge, 2 new diffs and full axle rebuilds. As usual still more things to do but getting there.
I have a hard roof and CSW sides to go on it so they are currently undergoing stripping to paint and fit. A mate of mine came up the workshop today so I could fit his steering guard. Very tidy silver 90 td5, very different to mine. Click image to enlarge |

I did buy it with one of the perks being it is a soft top! However...
As a live sound engineer I end up travelling with it around festival sites in the UK at which it is of course perfect for getting anywhere, and also useful for moving things like site lights around etc. Security isn't great on a site like that and of course being a landy I tend to keep some tools and useful bits in the back. So for now it will go hard roof. I will keep the soft roof bits and see what happens - Its easy enough to go back! Cheers for the nice comments |
