OEM Glowplug manufacturer?
I need a new set of glowplugs on my 2.4 Puma and I am trying to find quality replacements.

The ones that I have taken out are manufactured by "Beru" and have the part number 0100226203, but at 70k miles am wondering if they are the original ones or not.

I haven't been to the stealer to see how much a genuine set is, but think that Land Rover might be doing their usual trick of putting another manufacturers plugs in a LR box and charging twice as much for them!

Cheers

Dave

Unless they have swapped manufacturer the last time I checked the Bearmach OEM glow plugs supplied will be Beru one's.

I'm half tempted to buy just one to see who the manufacturer is, and then get the other three from somewhere else!

For reference - I just spoke to the dealer who also supply some aftermarket parts as well and they have stated that the quality aftermarket glowplugs are usually the same as the genuine ones but in different boxes.

The aftermarket ones were approx £8 plus vat and the genuine ones over £16. Will pass on who makes them when they come

Might be worth trying a ford dealer as a cheaper genuine alternative?
