thermatic fan on with a/c on

Hi guys can someone tell me if it is normal for the engines thermatic fan to be on about 95% of the time with the a/c on?.The dealer says yes but I trust them as much as I trust a politician.It must be said tho the temp here has been 30 to 43 celsius of late[/i][/u] series 3 swb gone . o5 defender gone

Do you mean the electric fan (not the viscous fan)?

If you do then I am pretty sure yes.

yes the electric one .thanks for the reply, wont worry then and one for the dealer, makes a nice change. series 3 swb gone . o5 defender gone
