Independent garage/Specialist on the Manchester/Salford area
I am new to the Defender fraternity, and am not the most mechanically minded (yet:shock: ), I am sorry if this has been answered before, but i cannot find anything whilst searching. (if it already exists, can someone direct me to the thread if there is one!) - Therefore i would like to know if anyone knows of any decent, reliable Land Rover specialists/garages within 10-15 miles of Manchester (M27/M30 postcode) for servicing and some small mods, tried and tested is best. thanks.

Thanks, i went to see the guys at Land Ranger in Atherton, seemed nice, and busy which is always a good sign - thanks.

Land Rover main agents farm out some of their work to Land Ranger so that is also a good sign.
I use the Stockport branch regularly and I have never had a problem, all they repair and service is Land Rover and they have been doing so for thirty years the mechanics have all been working for Land Ranger a long time which is an even better recommendation. Can definately say that Land Ranger in Atherton is worth using.
My defender needed a tubular out rigger replacing plus MOT - no issues.

They are busy though Smile

PS where abouts are you in the Manchester area;
i can always pop round and help with anything simple.
