I bought mine from Norwich camping for £400.. Few years back ... Prices have gone silly.
Try flatdog for a howling moon 2.5 or 3m dome they seem to be good prices at the moment. Have fun be happy |

Oztent. We sold our roof tent to buy one. 4 years ago about £600 bought us a rooftentslimited rt01, which is the budget end of the roof tent market. 6 months ago, £600 bought us an Oztent RV3, which I consider to be the higher end of the ground tent market (if you see what I mean).

Anyone know if an Oz Tent RV3 will fit inside a defender 90XS with headrests, I haven't checked to see if the headrests are removable yet, but if they are, does it fit? Also I am guessing you can stand up in an RV3? I am 5'11"

I can just about stand up in the tallest part of an RV3, and I'm 6'3"- certainly tall enough to stand up to get dressed. Doubt it will fit in a 90, ours goes on the roof rack.

A cheap tent that does the job for our weekend camping trips is - http://www.decathlon.co.uk/arpenaz-41-fami...94502.html
Only £79.99, you can stand up in it and it has a large covered area at the front where you can fit a little camping table in. So ideal if the weather isn't on side. Loads of room around a double air bed and it fits back into the bag! |

I currently use a fairly cheap Vango, we were last tent standing on a site in a recent storm - I was impressed, wind was were in excess of 50mph and horizontal rain. We remained warm and dry, loads of room for 2 adults (not standing) and dogs in the porch:
http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/vango-omega-350-3-berth-tent-p140004 For beds, went a little expensive as sleep is important, exped 10 LXW self inflating bed, went with 2 singles as it is slightly wider than a double and if one gets puncture don't loose both, got to say it has transformed camping for us: https://www.elitemountainsupplies.co.uk/pr...0-lxw.html For general lights, use cheap Rolson lights, cheap, AA batteries so easy to obtain and give off ok light in tent. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B002JM...&psc=1 also use UCO candle lantern for some background light, the very small amount of heat from it can help reduce condensation: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B006WG...&psc=1 Cheers |

HM Wizz 24 has stood up to some proper storms in Wales with us cowering inside - have to say I've been very impressed. Easily tall enough to stand in too (we also bought the front/side wall extensions which create another room - although without a groundsheet in that extension).
Fully recommended, but heavy and quite long when packed away in its bags (ok on a 110). |

I use one of these, used it a few times now and it's spot on, first time i slept on it, i ddi 10 hours straight, which is impressive as i usually only get 7 max a night
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vango-Comfort-Do...SwqBJXWFEn For my tent, i use a 3 man pop up Vango, it's not a 3 man tent unless you're 8 stone and 5 foot 2 but it'll fir 2 of me in no problem, i will get a better tent once the children get older. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Pop-300DS-K-2016...tOLEMFIIuw I've used it in the rain once and i stayed dry. |
