Horns on the puma
Is there any other way of accessing the horns on a puma other than taking out the headlights it's just that my winch bumper obscures them quite a bit ave got an x tech btw. Range rover td6

You could pull the wheel arch spat off and go from there, or move whatever is in the way of getting at it from under the bonnet. Awkward both ways though !

Through the arch would be the easiest way. They're just the hollow fittings with the pin through the middle, push the pin out and pull the fitting out. Be prepared to lose some of the pins though, I've found matches work well to hold the fasteners in until new ones arrive. 2011 Defender DCPU 2.2 - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic30623.html

Hello johnbain

Pictures... Question

Through the front lights easiest (but maybe not in your case) on the + side an inadvertent security measure... Cool
Through the inner wheel arch 'spat' is the next option, fiddly but doable...try to not break the spat / loose the clips

Why do you want to get to the horns... Question My OS horn failed...wiring OK... so swapped both over to a set off
a 1977 Jaguar XJ12... on the odd occasion use is required...everything sounds a lot better (as it should have been)... Thumbs Up SKIP

Hi johnbain

Wiring is within cavity above inner wheel arch 'spats' and outer bodywork. can be accessed /
identified in a number of ways, remove spats, top wing air vents, even accessed through the side
repeater indicators...best to trace back to bulk head main loom for any 'alteration'.

Two wires running to each horn, Black & Purple + Black (on mine)
