That looks like part of the EGR system to me.
EGR has probably been blanked off but I not sure what should be done with that pipe. If nobody else solves the problem I will check mine in the morning as the EGR has been blanked on it. Exhaust Gas Re circulation.
To reduce emissions some exhaust gas is fed back into the inlet manifold. Blanking the system on a TD5 makes it run smoother. Thanks dorsetsmith. All reconnected. Need to be a little more careful when fiddling about in the engine bay then
Was running the conduit down from the dash to battery box for my mud pod wiring. |
