Defender 300 Tdi CSW
This was my much loved 300 Tdi CSW.

It came with the snorkel and Hannibal roof rack fitted and I swapped the modulars on it for a set of alloys.

Some scumbag decided to borrow it one night - I got it back about 12 hours later looking like this .....

Unfortunately they didn't appear to have been injured - no blood or body parts inside Evil or Very Mad

They took the wheels, snorkel, steering guard and a few other bits but left a new Griffin Performance SS exhaust and trashed the Hannibal rack which can be seen hanging off it in the photo. Rolling Eyes John

Gutted!

Couldn't help noticing the JSF wheel cover in the second photo. With you in berkshire I must ask how it found it's way on to your 90?

Hope you get everything sorted by the insurance company. Russell

They weren't too bad. Took a bit of chasing but got them up £1k on their first offer. Very Happy John

I bought it from a guy over Norwich way and the cover came with it.

The insurance got sorted back in 2009, I just hadn't got round to posting photos. John

Hi, first post here!
That is an immaculate defender you used to drive! i was wondering whetehr you coudl tell me which offset you had on those alloys? i have emailed silverline in the past and they offered me two offsets but did not provide a picture of each. i have the same tyres as those (265/75 r16?) and always thought they would look good with those rims on a 90 and this is the first picture i have seen wirth the same combination! any help much appriciated
cheers, Will

Hi Will, thanks for the comment - it was a lovely truck.

The wheels were the 'less offset' option - I think it would be ET0 from looking at their website. They looked 'just right' and filled the arches well. Suspension was standard. John
