I don't think you'll find it is. 1 PS = 0.987 BHP therefore 140 PS = 138 BHP. Regards Pete |

Hmmm, that doesn't make sense as one of my first cars was 105PS in the book, but 92HP on paperwork. Maybe companies just make things up now Glyn |

The 2.4L engine as used by Ford is available in a 140 PS version as standard version. So there is quite some more margin as this 140 PS power level is regularly found in twin wheeled Transit chassis-cabs used to build campers of 3,5 to 3,8 GVW. These Transits are working a lot harder as they are constantly near maximum weight. http://www.ford.co.uk/Commercialvehicles/Transit/Powertrain Peter, Defender 110 StaWa - Td5 Defender 110 HCPU - Puma Defender 90 Soft Top - Td5 |

I seriously considered that, as there is no substitue for a well-thumbed manual when you're laying under the car. Then I remembered how reliable printing is with our 'throw-a-six-to-start' IT system and quickly discounted the idea. I did load it onto my iPad though, which does make for nice and convenient reading. Pete |
