Does anyone have any pics of a USW on wolf rims with tyres in the above size please? Just so I can get some idea what it will look like.

Cheers. 2011 110 USW

Thanks for that! The ones I specced are a different pattern but I can see the size at least. Cheers. 2011 110 USW

Oddly enough I am just at the point of
a) Trying to hire a USW XS to see if I can actually live with it now the D3 has made me soft (have had plenty of Defenders/110s in the past but have got used to the niceties)
b) Work out what spec I want

So on (b) I am not that keen on the standard Boost wheels and tyres and am considering either the £200-odd option to put Goodyear MT/Rs on rather than the Continentals or go for the no cost option of heavy duty steel wheels and MT/Rs. I suppose there's a 3rd option of sell the standard Boost and Contis and buy something else but that sounds a bit hard (unless I could find a tyre dealer who will take a part ex of some new take off boost/contis).

Anyway, I was looking for a photo of a USW with HD wheels and MT/R tyres option and nearest I could find were the photos of lrmaniac's cracking DC. I hope he doesn't mind me reposting these.

He says they are std Wolf wheels which I think are what LR fit as part of the "HD Steel Wheels" option and 235/85/16 BFG MT.

And I do like that colour too. Wonder what a USW XS with white roof would be like....

In similar position - looking to order a 110 XS SW not sure to stick with standard Conti's, or pay the £200 extra for Goodyear MTR's or the dealer is quoting £600 inc vat for 5 off BFG A/T's - all options are in the 238/85 16 size

Surely MT/R and the BFG AT aren't exactly like for like are they? Aren't MT/Rs more a BFG MT competitor?

Do you want MT or AT pattern?

Difficult isn't it.....

Love the ones on that green one! I *think* an XS would have body colour roof, I was tempted to have the roof and rims in green to match, but decided not to, partially to keep the cost down and partially I was worried about the rims getting damaged. I have never had a vehicle with alloys on, they just aren't "me", so its steelies all round. The green DC has the same tyres our works Defenders have, very beasty things but not available from the dealer it would seem. In any case they are a little *too* aggressive considering all the road miles I will do. Mine is specced up with the MTRs. 2011 110 USW

Does any know if LR also fit the extended wheel studs when you opt for the HD Steel Wheels option and 235/85/16 Goodyear MTRs?

Also, do you get locking wheelnuts with this option or is that only included with the Boost alloys?
