It's sat in my garage for the last year or so, it's not getting used and it occasionally attacks my boss when he's trying to get his mower out. It came with my Defender, it's had a sodding great box attached to it and it's a bit damaged where that had been badly fitted.
This is what it looks like fitted: Click image to enlarge The two damaged bits are towards the rear on some of the cross pieces. This is the worst: Click image to enlarge And this is the other side (passenger): Click image to enlarge This is the whole thing: Click image to enlarge Comes with all the clamps, but I've had to make back nuts for two of them where the originals were missing. Just a bit of flat with some holes drilled and tapped like the originals. Work fine, you can't see them, but something you should be aware of. I've also got three genuine Land Rover worklights which I'll throw in with it if of interest. They didn't work when I removed them, but since removing them I've seen the state of the Genuine Land Rover Wiring behind the dash, so in retrospect it's not surprising they didn't work! If they rack sells without the lights then I'll test the lights and list them for sale separately. Collection only from North Norfolk, I can help you load it on to a trailer, fit it to a roof or whatever. Looking at it from around the Land Rover it looks fine, it's just when you closely inspect the bits on top you can see it isn't. £400. Edit: oh, and I'm driving down to Bath next week so could drop off somewhere if required. Last edited by Cupboard on 18th Oct 2016 2:24pm. Edited 3 times in total |

That's a shame, oh well!
No, the bench isn't mine sadly. The old sofa is, that's free to a good home. Very comfy but not the prettiest of things. |

I've been asked for some pictures, they're below.
I've also been asked whether I'd post it. In principle, yes. I don't really know how that would happen but a brief look around the intertubes suggests that a budget figure of £100 would be around the right ballpark. Hi,
sorry for the delay. Are you going to the Scottish Land Rover show? Also, can you confirm what you have in the way of fittings. Cheers Andy |

I'm not going to the Scottish Land Rover show I'm afraid.
Furthest north I'm planning on doing any time soon is Durham. Each of the legs has a gutter clamp and a backnut plate, two of the backnut plates are home-made because when I got the Defender they were just using standard nuts and it's easier to attach with a plate that has two threaded holes in it. |

Bump, and price reduction.
I'm going to Peterborough on Saturday if anyone wants it there. Would be interested in a swap for some roof bars. |

Fit it for the LRO Show, put a "rack for sale" sign on it and park near the entrance, worth a shot! Just take the right tools to swap it over! James

Or maybe someone will walk over with the correct tools and remove it for you. 1999 Defender TD5 110

I was in Huddersfield a fortnight ago.
Good idea with taking to the show on spec, even if someone does run off with it it's insured Although what do I do about money? People don't generally have that much cash hanging around do they? Unless I get them to buy me something that I want from a stall with a card |
