Dunkeswell, Honiton. Must add I have no links with the company, just been a long time, happy customer, and know them well. Pete

After 6 months of chasing, the cubby box cover to match the Melvill and Moon seat covers arrived today. 10 seconds to fit and a tick in the ocd box. Every bit of fabric in the Heritage is now covered Rolling Eyes

Replaced rear brake pads. Removed the rear quarter chequer plate to re-paint as it was going a bit crusty.
Tried to replace the brake light switch only to find the one I bought is the wrong size. Does not screw in as the diameter of the threaded part is too small for the hole. So need to order a new one Sad 1999 Defender TD5 110

Yesterday picked up an office desk (the type with the curved section were you sit)
Replaced the passenger side sliding window seals with new Garrison Outfitters seals.
No more rattles now over bumps etc. One window the leak appears to have been fixed, but the window that was worked on today still leaks..but on the plus side, no rattles

Think I know why, the top of the window looks like it needs some sealant where the frame sits against the body, so a job for Sikaflex 291i

Cleaned up the rear 1/4 chequer plate and repainted it. Looking much better now.

Pics.

Foam taped to the car to protect the paint work if the rivet gun jumped while replacing the rivets.

Yesterday I took 6 hebs to a smallholder in a place called Dornstone near Hay on Wye. It was a great Defender day, low range and difflock to get up to our field to load them, an hour and half to Dornstone and then a trek on a track across a common, through a ford and through into another field to unload. Lovely place, great fella and 6 happy ewes. The rear of the pick up now honking!
