Pilanesberg is worth a visit.
Otherwise I have no experience from Durban. As mention, Frontrunner have a show room and fitting senter at Kyalami, just down the road from the factory. Glen "Rafiki" 2007 110 STW - Rolling rebuild. |

Concerning where you go.
See penguins at Boulders Beach, whales and shark spotting at Hermanus. If you drink go to Stellenbosch and the surrounding winelands. if you don't it is a good area to see the Fynbos and distinctive cape flora. The hot springs at Montagu were a nice visit. That takes you on to the Little Karoo for desert, Ostriches and Cango caves at Oudtshoorn. I hope some of the locals may be along with particular suggestions. We were in a Ford Focus so no off roading. Though the regular road to some places is gravel topped still. We were in Defenders for Safari drives at one of the private safari parks near Port Elizabeth. If you are going North to Kruger and will be taking the appropriate anti malarials and other medications. I think Kruger is a similar size to Israel so there is plenty of space to explore in. 1995 Defender 110 CSW 1971 SIIA Lightweight |

You won't be disappointed with either of your park choices. I love both, if you go to Hluhluwe you could go up a bit to Londolozi as well. Kruger is great but can be very crowded.
