Thanks for the video and uploading it, bloody brilliant and so professionally done.
I too keep thinking about buying myself a Series 1 and watching stuff like this doesn't help !!
I think I will within the next year and would love to hopefully undertake a road trip although possibly not as far as MonteCarlo.
I'd like to do northern Europe and visit WWI+II sites.
Anyway, keep the vids coming.
Have you / they made any others ??

Excellent videos Rog....some of those "roads"/drops would've been fairly intimidating for me!
Thanks, Martin.
I am just the messenger Martin, carrying on @strang's initial sharing as and when I find them notified elsewhere, but I am sure he would join me in saying you are welcome... Thumbs Up

They are a great series and we thought it would be awesome to have them all in one place in the order Stephen is putting them out... Mr. Green

EDIT: Whoopsies, it's Stephen of course, thanks for correcting me @strang... Whistle

Thanks for the tip. Watched all them from part 1 to 8 with delight. Thumbs Up Are there more coming?
One day when there will be time for it..... Whistle
Eric

I would expect the videos to stop when they reach their final destination, not sure how many will make up the full set... Whistle

Personally, I like that they are done in short summaries like this, keeps the interest piqued and must make it a whole heap easier to edit the huge amount of stuff he must have taken - awesome job... Bow down

I think Stephen (the chap who made them and driving the 80" with the Union Jack bonnet) is more than happy to have them shared out. He spent almost a year planning this trip, working out all the routes, in order to take in all that amazing scenery.

He is an amateur too, although I think he should be looking to do something like this on a professional basis.

I will pass on all the kind comments! Euro-Leafing to infinity and beyond.....

Yes, there are the 'euromadness' series, following another trip to Switzerland, and a trip to the Pyrenees too.

I think some of these films 'auto run' to the next in the series. Euro-Leafing to infinity and beyond.....

Top stuff Rog, those guys had a great time, Someone should put that altogether with commentary on a DVD?
Thanks, Martin.

I sincerely hope he will not mind, but Stephen Patchett has posted, elsewhere on social media, a list of the high pointS, POI and locations encountered on their epic trip to Monte Carlo, or bust... Mr. Green

Posted by - Stephen Patchett, Monday, 14th September 2015:

For all the people who wanted to know the route we took doing the Monte Carlo trip, here are some of the POI and just some of the Cols and passes on the route for you.
Grimsel Pass
Furka Pass
St Gotthard Pass
Nufenen Pass
Col du Lein
Croix de Coeur
Mauvoisin
Col du Grand St Bernard Pass
Col du Petit St Bernard Pass
Cormet de Roseland
Valdisere
Col de Iseran
Fort de la Turra
Lac du Mont Cenis
Colle della Finestre
Col dell Assietta
Col de Sommeiller
Col du Parpillion
Col du Bonnette
Isola 2000
Col de la Lombarde
Col de Tende
Fort Central
Col de Brouis
Villard-Notre-Dame
Some of the off road bits don't have names so hard to explain without getting the map out. Looking at this list though we had quite a bit of height gain on the trip!!! These are just the major bits there was quite a bit of up and down besides! Rog... Mr. Green
